2. General Training Rules
Personal Information.
• Inform the trainers of any health issues before starting training!
• Wear comfortable, tight-fitting clothing. (No spaghetti straps, no see-through pants.)
• Remove jewelry and cover any piercings.
• Maintain personal hygiene, wash your feet and hands, and keep your nails trimmed short (risk of injury).
Communication & Interaction
• Respectful and friendly interaction: NO means NO and spotter means spotter.
• Communicate figures and transitions in advance, and share safety concerns.
• Mindfulness and awareness of the athletic and personal boundaries (e.g., touching) of everyone involved.
• Welcome new members; training with beginners will primarily improve your skills!
Equipment and Safety
• If you have any questions, ask for instruction on how to use the equipment.
• Take care of the equipment and report any damage to the club staff immediately.
• Use sufficient and suitable mats and maintain a safe distance.
• Minimize hazards (slipping due to sweat, lotion, or similar) (use chalk).
Skills & Responsibility
• Arrive 100% fasted and physically and mentally fit (tiredness, illness).
• Be honest if you don't want to practice certain figures or with someone for whatever reason.
• Accept a NO without asking for a reason.
• Take care of spotting and spot others. The spotter MUST be familiar with the figure, its sequences, and the associated spotting.
• Be aware of your own limits and those of others; beginners can be difficult to judge! Don't push others beyond their limits.
• Good spotting is an art in itself; be attentive and 100% focused. (Spotter, not spectator)
Organization & Space
• Help with setting up and dismantling mats and equipment, even if you arrive late or leave early.
• Remove chalk residue and sweat from the floor, mats, and equipment. Stay at the edge with your snack.
Aerial Acrobatics:
• Use only with prior experience or under the supervision of an experienced person.
• No jewelry, sharp, or pointed accessories, or clothing details (e.g., zippers). Keep nails short and rounded.
• Check equipment before/after training - inform us if anything breaks!
• Before use, it is your responsibility to check that the suspension and equipment are properly installed and in good condition.
• Always train on a mat appropriate for the height level you are working at.
• The soft floors in the gym are generally reserved for aerial acrobatics; the last 20 minutes are also available for special acrobatic tricks.
• Aerial acrobatics is a risky sport; you are responsible for your own safety and for assessing your own abilities.
